Mariella es una joven dise\u00f1adora textil originaria de Le\u00f3n, Guanajuato<\/strong>, que a trav\u00e9s de nudos, cuerdas, telas, bastidores y ganchos crea piezas tan \u00fanicas que hacen que cualquier lugar se vuelva irrepetible. Le gusta tejer desde ni\u00f1a por lo que su llegada al mundo del arte textil<\/a> fue guiada, principalmente, por su amor hac\u00eda los materiales y al descubrir la carrera de dise\u00f1o textil<\/strong>, supo que era lo que necesitaba para explotar sus pasiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crecimiento y experiencia: El camino de Mariella en el dise\u00f1o textil<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

 \u201cTen\u00eda todo lo que necesitaba: taller de telares<\/strong>, m\u00e1quinas de coser, lugares donde tejer; es una carrera donde puedes explorar un chorro de \u00e1mbitos, puedes crear textiles<\/strong>, desarrollar algo m\u00e1s artesanal<\/a>, algo m\u00e1s industrial, dedicarte a compras o ventas o bien, a dise\u00f1o gr\u00e1fico especializado en telas\u201d, explica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al terminar la carrera, Mariella empez\u00f3 a crear algunas piezas para proyectos<\/strong> peque\u00f1os hasta que poco a poco, y gracias a su talento y pasi\u00f3n, su taller fue creciendo. Actualmente dise\u00f1a<\/strong> proyectos para clientes en todo el pa\u00eds, tiene un curso en Domestika<\/a> y ha trabajado con  grandes empresas como Fiesta Americana Los Cabos, el Toledo Rooftop en Ciudad de M\u00e9xico o el Starbucks Reserve en Monterrey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gracias a su formaci\u00f3n y a su experiencia, Mariella sabe c\u00f3mo tratar cada pieza textil de la manera adecuada y entiende a las fibras<\/strong> y materiales mejor que nadie. Para la creaci\u00f3n de sus obras, usa diferentes t\u00e9cnicas como macram\u00e9 tramado, crochet<\/strong>, embarrilado, telar a pedal y te\u00f1ido a mano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El proceso creativo de Mariella Motilla<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

El proceso de dise\u00f1o<\/a> inicia al conocer el lugar en donde ir\u00e1 la pieza<\/strong> pues cada una est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada seg\u00fan su contexto, necesidades y gusto de cada cliente, haciendo equipo para lograr una pieza \u00fanica y artesanal que conecte con ella y el due\u00f1o final de la obra. Una vez hecho esto, Mariella define colores<\/strong>, patrones y texturas6 para despu\u00e9s encontrar el material adecuado para desarrollarlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCada fibra te da diferentes posibilidades y hay que respetar lo que la fibra te da\u201d, explica. \u201c(El proceso) lo vas dividiendo entre el material<\/strong>, el estilo de lo que quieres hacer y a m\u00ed me gusta dise\u00f1ar sobre el lugar en donde montaremos la pieza\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colores que cuentan una historia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Terracotas, Ocean Hues<\/em>, beiges y pigmentos naturales<\/strong> componen la paleta de colores que Mariella usa en sus obras. Estos tonos \u2013conocidos como \u201cnuevos neutros\u201d\u2013\u2013 hacen que las piezas evoquen texturas<\/strong> terrosas y naturales. Mariella cuenta c\u00f3mo estos colores han estado presentes en su d\u00eda a d\u00eda desde que era peque\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEl naranja es de los adobes del taller; los verdes, de mi jard\u00edn<\/a>; los rosas, de las buganvilias; los caf\u00e9s, de las arcillas con las que mi pap\u00e1 trabajaba en sus esculturas\u201d. Estos colores se plasman de la manera m\u00e1s honesta en sus piezas y reflejan su historia de vida<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las curvas<\/a> tambi\u00e9n son un elemento recurrente en sus piezas. \u201cMe gustan mucho las curvas porque las considero flexibles y a m\u00ed me gusta ser flexible\u201d, comenta. \u201cLas curvas nunca son iguales y muy dif\u00edciles de repetir, hacen que las obras sean m\u00e1s \u00fanicas y org\u00e1nicas.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
