Cada uno de estos materiales constituye los componentes qu\u00edmicos b\u00e1sicos en la elaboraci\u00f3n de vidrio.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La arena se obtiene a un kil\u00f3metro y medio del T\u00e1mesis, en Oxfordshire; la ceniza de madera de helechos de los bosques circundantes al \u00e1rea \u2013deben cortarse debido al control de manejo de especies\u2013 y las conchas de quagga provienen de reservas locales.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cabe destacar que tambi\u00e9n se utiliza ceniza de sosa y otros acelerantes para disminuir la temperatura de derretimiento y que se requiera menos energ\u00eda al usar el horno.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"730\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/PROCESO_2-1024x730.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2858\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/PROCESO_2-1024x730.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/PROCESO_2-300x214.png 300w, https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/PROCESO_2-768x547.png 768w, https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/PROCESO_2-770x549.png 770w, https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/PROCESO_2.png 1134w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Una vez reunidos todos los <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/index.php\/2023\/05\/25\/la-verdadera-duracion-de-los-materiales\/\">materiales<\/a>, se pasa a la fase de limpieza, cocinado y molida. Primero la arena se seca utilizando un horno o el sol (dependiendo de las condiciones clim\u00e1ticas) y luego se cuela para obtener los granos m\u00e1s finos de la tanda.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las conchas se lavan y secan usando los mismos procesos. Luego se trituran utilizando una licuadora y nuevamente se cuelan para separar el polvo de cualquier residuo de concha. Despu\u00e9s de secar los helechos, se queman con un incinerador hasta conseguir la ceniza, que tambi\u00e9n se cuela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La siguiente etapa es la creaci\u00f3n de la tanda, donde se mezclan todos los materiales, y luego el soplado del vidrio. La tanda se precalienta en el <strong>horno \u201ckiln\u201d<\/strong> para derretir y cambiar el color y posteriormente se pasa al alto horno para crear los pedazos de vidrio que vuelven a derretirse para crear vidrio trabajable y luego soplado para darle la forma deseada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Colecciones del Vidrio de T\u00e1mesis<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La primera colecci\u00f3n de Vidrio de T\u00e1mesis se llam\u00f3 <strong><em>Verde perla<\/em><\/strong>. Basadas en antiguos recipientes de agua y jarras, ten\u00edan dos coloraciones, fruto de la experimentaci\u00f3n con diferentes or\u00edgenes de arena en el T\u00e1mesis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La segunda colecci\u00f3n se llam\u00f3 <strong><em>Azul morado<\/em><\/strong>.
