{"id":3517,"date":"2023-05-23T21:31:33","date_gmt":"2023-05-24T03:31:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/?p=3517"},"modified":"2024-01-16T13:43:10","modified_gmt":"2024-01-16T19:43:10","slug":"moma-ps1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/index.php\/2023\/05\/23\/moma-ps1\/","title":{"rendered":"MoMA PS1 | Museo de arte moderno"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>El Museo de arte moderno <\/strong>mejor conocido como <strong>MoMA <\/strong>tiene un proyecto adjunto<strong> \u201c<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.momaps1.org\/programs\/85-artist-interventions\"><strong>MoMA PS1<\/strong><\/a>\u201d una galer\u00eda y espacio cultural para artistas y creativos de m\u00faltiples disciplinas (desde pintura, m\u00fasica, escultura hasta arquitectura y activismo) localizada en el \u00e1rea de <strong>Long Island, Queens, en Nueva York<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este proyecto, fundado por la curadora <strong>Alanna Heiss<\/strong> y adjuntado al MoMA en el 2000, tiene un enfoque en fomentar nuevas ideas y la experimentaci\u00f3n en las pr\u00e1cticas art\u00edsticas y la relaci\u00f3n de los artistas con la sociedad en general y la comunidad en la que se encuentran (MoMA PS1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Instalaciones del MoMA PS1<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre las instalaciones que est\u00e1n activas este a\u00f1o se encuentra <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sitioleedor.medium.com\/james-turrell-meeting-en-el-moma-ps1-ad6fe860ecf5#:~:text=Meeting%20fue%20el%20segundo%20skyspace,construir%C3%ADa%20durante%20las%20siguientes%20d%C3%A9cadas.\">Meeting<\/a> <\/em>de <strong>James Turrell<\/strong>, un <strong><em>Skyspace <\/em><\/strong>proyectado directamente al techo del tercer piso del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/index.php\/2022\/07\/03\/mufo-el-museo-del-futuro\/\">museo<\/a>. Invita a los visitantes a sentarse y contemplar una vista despejada del cielo.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El proyector, al igual que las luces de la sala est\u00e1n sincronizados con el amanecer y el atardecer dando un efecto realista al cielo que se proyecta. Turrell busca explorar la luz y el espacio en el arte al igual que las dudas fundamentales sobre la percepci\u00f3n humana y la vista de una forma tangible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Igualmente en el tercer piso podemos encontrar \u00a1un gran hoyo en la pared! Esta obra titulada <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moma.org\/calendar\/exhibitions\/3991\/installation_images\/37921\"><em>The Hole at P.S.1, Fifth Solar Chthonic Wall Temple<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>de <strong>Alan Saret<\/strong> parte de la premisa que la forma que es capaz de adoptar cada material depende de sus propiedades f\u00edsicas y, por lo tanto, la naturaleza traza la \u00faltima pincelada en el arte.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1007\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-05-23-at-11.34.15-3-1.jpeg\" alt=\"MoMA PS1 | Museo de Arte Moderno\" class=\"wp-image-3523\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-05-23-at-11.34.15-3-1.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-05-23-at-11.34.15-3-1-300x295.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-05-23-at-11.34.15-3-1-768x755.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.gridmag.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-05-23-at-11.34.15-3-1-770x757.jpeg 770w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>En esta pieza, la luz solar es el medio que influencia la escultura, un hoyo cuidadosamente colocado permite que los rayos del sol entren y creen un haz de luz que ilumina la sala y llega hasta el suelo .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colocados alrededor de todo el museo las formas ovaladas de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moma.org\/slideshows\/56\/936\">Richard Artschwager<\/a> llaman la atenci\u00f3n a distintas superficies y estructuras que suelen pasar desapercibidas. La pieza, pintada por <strong>Alexis Rockman<\/strong> en gouache es solo una de una serie creada para <strong><em>Vertical Painting <\/em>en
